RALEIGH – FieldCore Service Solutions, a subsidiary of General Electric, is shutting down its operations in Wilmington and is laying off 261 employees. The news came in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (“WARN”) field with the N.C. Department of Commerce on March 31. The operation will close June 1.Apr 1, 2020
