Florida WARN rules

Florida does not have a WARN law of its own, so the federal WARN Act applies. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, it generally covers employers with 100 or more employees and requires at least 60 calendar days of written notice before a plant closing or mass layoff.

Florida Commerce lists notices by the year they were received, with the date the state was notified, the layoff dates and the industry. Our archive keeps every notice we have collected, starting from January 2026.

When does Florida require a WARN notice?
