Illinois WARN rules

Illinois has its own WARN law, the Illinois Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, enforced by the Illinois Department of Labor. According to the Illinois Department of Labor, it requires employers with 75 or more full-time employees to give 60 days of advance notice of a plant closing or mass layoff. Employers send their notices to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, which publishes them on Illinois workNet.
